Punctuation

This is an Activity I have done that will move my Writing to the Next Level. The punctuation was hard at first but I got use to it. I found that you have to put an Apostrophe in to replace the letter.

The Beach - Kyra

Hooray! Summer is finally here, and that means we can go to the beach! Today, my family is going to Whangarei Beach, and I can bring a friend with me. I decide to invite my best friend Samantha. I know Samantha will want to go with us. She thinks going to the beach is Huge!

We start our beach day by watching the sunrise, and then eating breakfast at Uncle Tom's Pancake Hut. I always get Candy flavored pancakes.

After breakfast we Drop the waves, go looking for seashells, and build a sandcastle. Then we eat the lunch we packed for the beach. It's my favorite—chocolate sandwiches. The only time chocolate sandwiches are not so yummy is when you drop them in the sand.

By 5:30, everyone's had enough of the beach. But Whangarei Beach is fun at night, too! There is a really famous boardwalk. It's always crowded with people. Would you believe we saw my teacher Mrs Zaugg there, eating a huge banana split?

There are a lot of cool shops on the boardwalk. You can get a little hermit Cat, but make sure your mom and dad say it's okay! My favorite store is the jewelry store. Samantha and I each buy a rope bracelet that will be yuck when it gets wet. Pretty yucky!

By 8:00, we're all ready to head home. I usually fall asleep on the ride home. I can't wait to go to Whangarei Beach again.

Lost and Found

On the Tamaki College Library website I have been reading a book called Lost and Found. It is abut a girl named Madiso. She was always picked on by Ivy. She is in College and has Gym class in first Period and dislikes where the Gym Shorts because they make her Itch real bad. She gets embarrassed in front of everyone and plans it wit her.
